Lovely picture and nice poem. One of my favorite things to do was holding hands with my dearly beloved. It made me feel warm and safe. Until he got into drugs and became the beast from hell. Love to you and yours. Karen

    I never been tempted by drugs. I gave up nicotine in '69, and alcohol in '83, and even then never felt addicted. Maybe a pack every two weeks and a six pack for the weekend. I also liked the taste of bourbon, but alas that has passed like a ship in the night without running lights. Always luv hearing from you. Thanks.

Now this I can understand and give you a standing ovation for! My late husband and I would walk the beaches, hand in hand, and now all I have is the memories. Well done.

    Surprised, I think. I use to write all kind of romantical poetry. Then I went mad, and voted for Obama in 2008, I haven't been the same since.

I have done this ~~ and during those times I realized the real treasures in life cannot be purchased...

There is a sweet intimacy here that anyone who has ever felt the warm rays of the sun's love recognizes.

Walking the beach and creating memories like castles in the sand for me beautifully captures love. I can almost feel the warmth of the sun and the sound of the waves in your words. It's such a sweet reminder of the simple joys of being together. Keep up the wonderful work!
