This is an interesting entry in the Nonfiction Writing Contest. Congrats on your winning essay in the local Veterans' Creative Arts Competition.
As an Bermudian who grew up in the Bermuda Triangle (that is formed between Bermuda, Miami and Puerto Rico) I can categorically say that much of what you offer as evidence for explanations of unsolved or mysterious disappearances in nothing more that a retelling of historical conjectures and debunked theories born out of a number of mysterious conspiracy theories written by a number of authors since the release of the first book titled The Bermuda Triangle - a best-selling 1974 book by Charles Berlitz. None of the theories espoused by these books are true. Most of the disappearances can be explained by natural causes and human error. I've traveled by plane and by cruise ship through and above and swam and been deep see fishing in the Bermuda Triangle numerous times over the past 50 years.
