Oh my oh my, this is among one of the most beautiful poems I have ever seen you write. I actually felt like I was dancing with and to it and then you pulled out the real dance at the end and completely mesmerized me.
I am trying really hard to see through these tears as I cannot tell you how touched I am. Please know that I will treasure this forever, and then I just now opened up your card from the mail too.
My dearest Karenina, you have blessed us so tremendously that I am completely overwhelmed by your kindness. I love you beyond friendship as it is more spiritual than that, my sweet sister. And I am going to copy this so I can remember exactly how I felt the moment I read this breathtaking poem.
Thank you with all of my heart and for the beautiful card too.

So great to be heard.
Fifty years is an eternity.
Jade and I have been together forty one years and coming up to thirty four years married in June... hell, that's another sixteen years.
Guess only time will reveal the certainty of that ambitious tally?
I was thinking today while I was doing my morning laps in the ocean pool, how I always think of you while I'm doing my morning laps in the ocean pool... how bizarre? Only realised it this very morning!:))
Yes, the water temp is dropping fast for someone who only wears speedo's all year 'round:) What... you didn't ask? Well, I'm going to tell you anyway... okay!

You are SO right. We have no concept when we begin life as a couple how very long, and sometimes difficult, the journey may be. God knows! He blesses those who cling to faith as well as love!

I'm so glad you came by! These Golden Anniversaries are rarer and rarer these days. The U.S Census indicates less than 5% of marriages reach this milestone. Debi and Glen deserve gold medals! Marriage is a marathon, not a sprint...
