NOOOOOO!!! OMG!!! I think you should have gotten a medal for having not deliberately drowned yourself from the humiliation of it all!! That is the thing EVERYONE's nightmares are made of! You poor sweetie, you!!
But you did a FANTASTIC job of relating the story. You kept it vivid and funny, lively and perfectly paced [hey! I sound like a swim meet announcer!] I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
I did notice these two spags, though:
cap over my ears and my **googles** over my eyes.
Every muscle ** taught** (taut)
Best of luck in the contest! This one definitely seems like a contender!! xo

Thanks for the encouraging review. And for catching the mistakes. Sorry, I don't have any commendations left.

Oh, gosh, no. That's fine. I just did it so that the mechanics would be as flawless as the story, itself! xo

Always, appreciate your sage advice.

I don't have any stars left. But you deserve them for this little beauty. The Picture perfectly matches the story. But you did not verify where your picture came from. In your author's notes you need to mention where the picture came from. That is how they stay free for all of us. Karen

Between your entry and "Grampy's" MIT visit with his grandaughter it will be hard to decide which of these two to vote for as they are both delightfully well versed.

Your imagery was so clear I could smell the chlorine. You told the story in a way that didn't leave the reader in excess discomfort. My favorite part - what a good sport you are.

Thanks for the read, review and for sharing. Don't know what a Cosie is, but losing it sounds embarrassing. Thank goodness for a quick acting coach.
