'Life, like nature leaves, many scars,' this is an interesting sentiment, upon which to ponder. A Kyrielle that provides material for reflection- a most enjoyable read

Your skillfully written, vividly descriptive poem conveys a delightful message about the contrast of a summer's day--the heat in the air, the coolness of the water in the stream and that provided by the shades.

you nailed the form my dear with great skill. I am envious of those people who can nail traditional verse. i have a problem with traditional verse forms except for Haiku which for some reason I can handle.

This Kyrielle is different from any kyrielle that I've read, but looking at the rules it's still fine, but it resembles a sort of cascade poem, the rhyming is also unusual with an aaab routine, but beautifully written, an excellent post, and entry in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Hello, your Kyrielle made me check your poem line by line by searching for repeating lines (don't worry, everything is fine :) ).
Your poem is so reflective, you begin with a calm image of a river, to increase tension in the next lines. I wish you all the best in your contest.

Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. Yes, we live in a fast pasted world. I agree we need to slow everything down. I think we were better off back in the olden days when life was slower.

Smiles harken such great times had as we reflect in wonderment of times gone by.

This poem has amazing visuals. Your words carry us to a special place where dreams come true, where beauty rules and everything is possible. I like the philosophical undertones and the wisdom of your words.
Enjoyed the imagery and presentation.
A lovely Kyrielle.

It does seem sometimes as though we spend our time waiting for events to come along instead of doing other things in between. I love the thoughtful tone of poem - it felt peaceful as I was reading it.

This is an elegant form and you've done it justice! Nature is, as most of us agree, a wonderful thing. Yet, it blossoms, flourishes, fades, and dies ~ as do we all. To sit a spell and take it all in? That is the essence of life! Storms will come and go, as will triumphs. We must weather both with grace and faith!

Yes, how wonderful that like the ebb and flow of the tides our lives are in constant give and take.

We appreciate the one, because of the other, I think!
