This is an uplifting piece, Dean. I prefer it when acrostic poetry rhymes and you have an excellent rhyming scheme. Excellent alliteration in the first line to grab the reader's attention as well. Thanks for sharing the wisdom of sticking with it.

Wow, I could not have read this at a more opportune time. But I digress... Anyways, the poem was excellently written, I liked how you used the acrostic style to get your message across. I'm going to catch up on your story later tonight. We've been getting a graduation party together for my nephew, and I was recruited to make a video commemorating his life. The party was held earlier today, and I'm proud to say that as all 50+ people in the hall watched that video of his life, there wasn't a dry eye in the house, including my own.
