Ah, the joys of small children and the festive season ...
Amusing and very realistic, every parent's nightmare. The ever so helpful brother who porbably could have told his mother earlier ...
No spag spotted.

Begin Again,
What a great story. I love your well crafted tales. You're one of the Queens of short fiction on this site. The photo is great of your grandkids. "You better not pout you better not cry because Begin Again wrote another great tale."
I had to go there.
It so funny what some kids will say when on Santa's lap. I think your story is perfection.
Melissa.

Although not my sense of humor, the turn at the end is very good and would be amusing to most. I generally like the overall use of simple vocabulary for children, but I wonder if saying mothers are overstressed is more than a child could handle. That is a minor concern, however. Good juxtaposition of picture and poem.

You are probably correct about the "overstressed" moms but the women reading the story will certainly relate. My grand daughter Kaitlyn is visiting me today and she was thrilled to see her picture on the computer screen. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Carol

The line's so long - add the apostrophe
Oh, I never even considered that - now you have me wondering how many times a year each jolly Santa is peed on! LOL This is just too funny. And your grandchildren are utterly adorable :-) Brooke

Thank you so much...Kaitlyn is visiting me today and she loved seeing her picture on the computer screen. I imagine they get "little blessings" more than once each year...such a risky job being a Santa. LOL Thanks again....Carol

Carol, your grandchildren are sooo cute. I enjoyed the story, because it was filled with musings of what so many people experience during this time of year.

BeginAgain,
This short holiday story, "I Can't Wait!" I so cute! The picture of your grandchildren is precious! They are beautiful!
Is this a real story? It gives a real life glimpse of holiday shopping and a Santa visit, whether it is or not.
I enjoyed reading it!
""Don't you want to talk to Santa?" (you have 2 quotation marks on the beginning of this sentence.)

Um little apples didn't fall far from um tree. Can see the likeness there. This was cute and full of action. I laughed when Santa suddenly went quiet. Well - risk goes with the job.
