This fun poem is beautifully written and the picture complements it very well, especially the thermometer in the mouth. The poem has all 17 syllables. Good imagery.
Hope you win the contest, Best wishes!
Cheers

Sylvia,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, I appreciate more than you know when some one rechecks my syllables (not my strong suit but I can't resist writing poems that require it).
Thank you also for the great review and the contest wishes :)

Very good. You have two X chromosomes, you know. We don't. That's what makes us so delicate. If you only knew how we suffer!

Excellent short poem that with a good sense of humor tells us about a person probably very ill with sneezes, coughs and so on (I figure he was an old deep-rooter smoker). And to crawn it all,
he is cold!.
Wow!
Yes, I think he is probaly dead.
Congratulations to the author.

Oh yes, man cold is a deadlier strain of the virus than common cold... at least that what my husband tells me!
I like the proximate rhyme of door and sure, also good use of alliteration in deaths door.
Very funny, thanks for the laugh and good luck in the contest. Kindest regards, Debra :)
