Oh Debbie I'll pray everyday day that the infections will pass and by the 28th when you have your appointment all will be good and you will be able to go ahead with the cornea transplant.
Having an auto immune disease has really hampered the progress for you but I truly believe you will have this procedure done soon.
Thankfully you have your husband by your side giving you all the love and support you need.
Sending all the positive vibes and hugs and love from Ireland.
Love
Nicki xoxo

OMGosh, Nicki, you dear and wonderful friend. I wondered if this wasn't a bad idea to post about this, but after a long six months of horrific treatment, the last one was too much to take. And then after receiving so many people asking how it was going and so many prayers in my PMs. I thought it was time.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review and sweet comments.
Thank you with all my heart for your big heart.
    Much love back to you.

Beautifully written and informative and also, at the same time, so sad. As a fellow Lupus warrior, I hear you! I see you! I am sending you light and love (if okay). Lupus sure is a pain in the behind! I hate it and I know you do too x x x x

OMGosh, Tab, you sweet and wonderful woman. Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review, sweet comments and amazing six stars. As a fellow lupus sufferer, you know how hard it is. Lupus alone has taken many organs as I am sure you know what that is about.

Thank you with all my heart for your big heart.
    With so much love. Debi

Oh, Debi,

You have been through it, haven't you? I know you were hoping for a surgery date after the weeks and weeks of Oxervate!

Infection and inflammation seem to be hampering that and it makes sense that Lupus may well be the culprit...

I'm glad you thought to write about your condition. You are correct that so many of us have been praying, so posting a comprehensive update is very helpful.

How frustrating when writing is your best coping strategy and yet too much screen time can have adverse effects...

Please pace yourself, follow your doctor's advice and have faith that you will, in fact, be ready for that corneal transplant sooner than you think!

You have a whole team of fans, friends and prayer warriors.

I hope you get good news Feb. 28th...

Blessings as you soldier on my friend!

Karenina

Hi Sweetie, I wondered if this wasn't a bad idea to post about this, but after a long six months of horrific treatment, the last appointment was the last straw. We thought time after time that I was done with the infections and yet the inflammation and the infections kept coming back as you already know.

And then after receiving so many people asking how it was going, I thought it was time to let them know.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review and sweet comments.
Thank you with all my heart for your big heart.
    Much love back to you.

Thank you for giving all of us an update! Judi says she's better after stopping the Oxervate but it sounds like the lupus is keeping you from benefiting from the drug. Your husband and your doctor deserve a medal along with you for being such a trooper! You know that your team here are continuing to pray for you!!

I was glad to read that there was some good news in there somewhere and we will continue to hope that the news keeps improving. In the meantime, you remain in my prayers. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you. Just listen to your doctor and do as he says, even if it means being on FS less. We need to get you back as close to full vision as we can get you and if that means staying off the computer screen for some time, please do it. Your husband can come on and fill us in. God bless. We are here for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you always, Debi. I can't begin to imagine what a struggle you are facing. I can't stand it when I can't read the small print...You are so much braver than I. Praying for a better outcome next appointment.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

It's never wrong to post and tell friends how you are doing...good or bad. And to know that we all care and send love and prayers is one of the best medicines around. My late husband had a similar problem and he had to get injections into his eyes every month... Don't give up hope! Love ya, Carol
