I've always struggled with this forgiveness thing. I can't forgive a couple people. I don't think you can forgive certain things but I can forgive most things. This is something to maybe strive for someday though.

Forgiveness is one aspect of life that many struggle with, I know I do. An inspirational piece that makes me hope that one day I will find the strength the forgive those that have wronged me. Excellent work.

Thank you, I think the forgiveness comes not from the act of betrayal but for the reason why and if we can accept this then hope is lost****kahpot

Very nice poem. I think the choice of your image was unique as well, which to me represents that "road" to forgiveness you mention at the end. From the beginning of the poem you give a great definition as to what forgiveness truly means and how even when one strays from the beaten path it is important not to judge and allow a person to make mistakes along the way. Well done, reminds me of the biblical parable, "The Prodigal Son"

Excellent acrostic poem, Kahpot. The lines flow together and the overall meaning is consistent from start to finish.
My only recommendation is to bold the first letters if you can. This is really good and I wish you all good luck in the contest. :)

This is an excellent description of forgiveness. To forgive as God does means to not even remember the wrong was ever done. For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more.

Forgiveness has not always come easy to me, so this poem jumped on me with both feet. You did this with style, creativity and a real sense of how one works to forgive. Very nicely done by the way! Forgiveness often takes time. Writing about it is very good therapy.
