this is very well written, writingfundimension, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where jana's grandmother makes it through the surgery and she's called to pearce's house and informed of pictures found at the site

A pretty full chapter here, that surgeon sounds like an arrogant SoB. Jana is going to have a rough ride from here I think, her Uncle (alive) and Grandmother are, I suspect, key to what happens from here on.
Let me guess, there's something attached to the tape covering the mouth of the late Mrs Pearce ...

A pretty full chapter here, that surgeon sounds like an arrogant SoB. Jana is going to have a rough ride from here I think, her Uncle (alive) and Grandmother are, I suspect, key to what happens from here on.

Jana is correct about male officers getting more respect than female officers. It goes all the way back to the pre-1800's where women were thought to be squeamish. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

Another great chapter that is very well written and makes for a great read. Your characters have a lot of depth and personality, which make them very interesting. The dialogue is smooth and feels natural. This is solid writing.
