Nice, Dean, this was a great sea faring adventure. Think I even brought a little sand home in my slippers, hee hee, and I agree. The adventure starts right between the ears; it takes imagination to read our work and to appreciate the thought. Well done on this write, my friend, Bill

This is just awesome. Your words, the journey taken, the beautiful image used and even the sounds of the ocean and the sea gulls. You really did a great job showing much creativity and originality. You get a 6 from me my friend..

I just love this, Dean - the poem, the presentation
and the sound effects are all most impressive....
I felt I was there listening.

Beautifully done Dean. A story of the sea and all she holds. There is promise of even more if you are willing to go there. Wonderful I say.

If I close my eyes and listen to the sounds, I find myself on the sea with the waves crashing around. I'm sorry I didn't play this at night, it would have had an awesome effect. As usual, your poems are always brilliant. Thanks for sharing. This was enjoyable.

Brilliant? Well, that's quite a compliment Linda, I really appreciate that. I don't think of myself as "brilliant", but I do try always to shine!
Thanks so much again for this outstanding review!

Wonderful nautical visualizations and very creative verse. I see you needed to darken some text to see it against the light parts of the background. Your rhyme scheme was variable, but that didn't matter at all as it flows so well. Ode to the sea, and call to the imagination blend perfectly thematically. Visually impressive picture poem. Very nice!

Well, for sure we can say we enjoy our trip to the sea with you and the sound and layout was perfect and it didn't scare the wits out of us, makes us wish we had a six for this one but we're all out. They moved Miss Evelyn to the rehab center yesterday. If the Lord lays on your heart to send her a card she loves showing off her cards from her fanstory family. God loves you and we do too. Shes at Hiram Shaddox - Geriatrics Center - 620 hospital drive - Mountain Home, Ar 72653 Room 110/Evelyn Stewart. I sneak that message in and Miss Evelyn can't see what I'm doing. I don't have to tell everything. haha. God bless. janie

What can I possibly say to this? Dean, you are travelling on a new plane, my friend. You have reached new heights of creativeness and with your pictapoems, we soar like eagles above the world gazing at its splendor, travelling--in this poem--over the seas, feeling the wind on our feathers and the brine in our beaks.
Awesome work!
Wish I could give you ten golden cups of glory for this, however a humble six star is the best I can come up with.

Thanks for your wonderful review, my friend! Our move is nearly complete, and I have more time to jump on FS once in awhile. Sorry I have not been able to review the Golden Menace, this new internet service is very...squirrely for lack of a better term. I know I have fallen so far behind on so many stories because of our move, it's not funny! I will get back to reading and reviewing more. I've had a couple of projects of my own in the works, and between working on them, and moving...Oh, have mercy!
Thanks so much again, Alex. I haven't forgotten you buddy!

The artwork is excpectionally well and perfect for this poem. It amazes me how the mind always seems to go right into the tone that you've set for reading...me pirate voice...lol...well written.

Yeah, we've been moving, Nicci, and I am sure you know what that's like. I loathe moving, but it is a much nicer & larger place. Look for the new chapter of Ouija's Kube, coming in a couple of days, tops!
Thanks for your fantastic review!
