Very well written, Bev. However, I wish this chapter was longer. I'm anxious to find out who the murderer is. I imagine this heart attack shouldn't have happened. Someone is out for revenge.

A great story. Eisner passes away due to a massive stroke before he can tell the Sheriff information about the case. Eisner's friend Duffy knows the combination to the safe, which might have information in it that will lead to the killer. If nothing happens to Duffy before the sheriff has a chance to get to then safe. I enjoyed humorous touches like "elevator loitering" and the dueling cell phones. You make the Sheriff a character who has sympathetic feelings for the bereaved ones that he has to give the bad news to. judi
