Something I learn when subbing for kindergartners. When they have to go, they have to go! Thank you for sharing this humorous Christmas Tale.

Ha-ha-ha for the ho-ho-ho guy. Now he knows not all kids love him. Ooops, not all kids can wait until he/she gets a present before pee-ing. Humorous story!

I two little munchkins give me lots to laugh about but I don't think Santa was laughing too much. Thanks for the review. Carol

Very good and oh so cute. How many of us have taken our little ones to see Santa, only to have them cry and be afraid. Her brother's words were priceless. Wonder read.
Gavin shrugged his shoulders, (not a speech tag, so a period)

Hullo Carol ...
You certainly have a surprise ending to this delightful little story. What beautiful Grandchildren you have and I suppose that the excitement was simply too much for little Kaitlyn!
There are just two small changes to suggest ...
* You have - You and your sister are going to take a picture with Santa ... I don't think you mean that they are going to take a picture and therefore suggest ...
You and your sister are going to have your picture taken with Santa .... right?
* You have - rumbled from the jolly ole man's belly ...
belly is a word used with reference to animals, not to people. (For people - use tummy or stomach.) However, for this lovely story, I suggest - rumbled from deep inside the jolly ole man ....
Thank you for sharing this with us.
With love from .... Nanette Mary.

This story is adorable and if I had to guess, I would guess it is true. The pictures of your grandchildren are just precious. I'll bet Santa gets a lot of surprises. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the good read.

Very humorous Christmas anecdote. I can picture the little girl's impatience and Santa's embarassment. I do think more emphasis should be put on Kaitlyn and less on Gavin while they are waiting in line.

Ah! that was so cute Carol, I still love this aspect of
Christmas, I can't still get my head around the fact that
Santa doesn't come down our chimney anymore !
I am so happy that my daughter always made it to the "loo"
on time.

How true...being on the receiving end tends to make one think differently. Bet it happens more than once to those Santas. Thanks for the great review. Smiles to you, Carol

Hello Carol:
Your grandbabies are very cute and elated over here to get to look at them on screen.
Much enjoyed reading "I Can't Wait" because, as parents,we plan and think how pretty a picture with santa would be.
Kids obviously have other thoughts and needs; Kaitlyn could not hold it anymore.
I could never make my children like the circus. They were both terrified of the clowns or anything alive underneath a mask and/or costume. Go FIGURE !!! I loved the circus and clowns as a kid and even now that I've turned into a bit of an older kid--I still go to the circus.
Thanks for sharing this fun story, Carol.

Hi Carol,
I read this peice
"The line's so long, Mom." Gavin sighed. "Can't I go play the arcades?"
(Ha ha... typical, very authentic)
"No, no." she cried.
(typo here... not sure if it's the period, or the s of she)
(I read this; found it nice, quick, and ties up well. The scene is well placed, and it makes for a believable, (amusing cause your aren't there at the time) read.
I bet it happens way too often for those mall santa's, probably have a couple spare suits.
