Thank you Debi for sharing your situation with us. We do pray along with you that the doctor will find the best solution to this horrific problem and you will be able to get the transplant and soon.
So sorry you are having to endure this problem but always remember, you are not alone. We are praying with you.
Love and blessings my friend

OMGosh, Joanne, you dear and wonderful friend. I wondered if this wasn't a bad idea to post about this, but after a long six months of horrific treatment, the last one was too much to take. And then after receiving so many people asking how it was going and so many prayers in my PMs. I thought it was time.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review and sweet comments.

Oh my friend, how hard this is on you, and your family. Thank you for sharing because I know how hard it is to share about these things and put them out there. A day never goes by that I'm not praying for you. Jack and I pray continuously about everything pressing you and your for vision. Know I'm here for you.

I'm dealing with Crohn's Disease which has made my eating miserable. In my proactive state, I have found a few things that seem to help the body fight off infection.

One is Astragalus. It is a flowering herb popular in traditional Chinese medicine.. Astragalus polysaccharide (APS) has significant immune-enhancing and antiviral qualities.Test-tube and animal studies show that astragalus combats herpes viruses, hepatitis C, and avian influenza H9 virus, so pretty strong in helping everyone with weakened or compromised immune systems. DO ask you eye doctor if Astragalus are okay to add to your "get well" regiment.

I'm preparing to go on a fast today. I begin tomorrow. As I fast, I will pray for you even more. The focus is physical and spiritual. I'm knocking on Heaven's Door for you, sweetheart, and for many miracles.
Love,
Sal XOs

Your poem does a great job of share the challenges you're facing. I really admire the way you share the frustration and helplessness of dealing with health issues. But also the strength you're showing in managing it. I hope sharing this gives you some comfort. Stay strong! I'm wishing you the best with your treatment and recovery!

I have actually been looking for an update from you the last couple of days; I knew something was coming to inform us. I thought about emailing you, but I know how precious your time on a screen is, and I knew you'd let us know eventually.

Of course the lupus is the villain here, that seems a no-brainer for the doctors. It controls everything going on in your body, except for your spirit. That is still yours and it shines brightly!

I will pray for the doctors, especially the one whose sleep is bothered by your condition. He will try whatever is available to him in order to help you.

Hang in there, Deb. We all understand how much the writing helps you to cope, just do it wisely, as instructed. Can you dictate and have someone type it for you?

You're in my thoughts and prayers, sis. And I'm sure our bro is praying hard for you.

xoxo

Hi Hon, I wondered if this wasn't a bad idea to post about this, but after a long six months of horrific treatment, the last appointment was the last straw. We thought time after time that I was done with the infections and yet the inflammation and the infections kept coming back.

And then after receiving so many people asking how it was going, I thought it was time to let them know.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review and sweet comments.
Thank you with all my heart for your big heart.
    Much love back to you.

I finally broke down and wrote about some of my problems which was a huge deal for me to do. I have felt a kind of release from it. You write well. and I pray you get two good eyeballs.
I would give you one of mine if I could, but they tend to frown on swapping out perfectly good eyeballs for bad ones. Love you.

Oh, Debi, I'm sure everyone is praying for this new outcome for you. I have cataracts and I'm waiting for my operation, but at least I know it will work. It's hard trying to work on the laptop/computer with eye problems, and I know how important it is for you. Your birthday poems are such a delight to the person you are writing, and for us to read them. Keep the faith, my friend, it is going to be fine, you are going to have that cornea transplant! Love you lots, my dear friend. :)) Sandra
