A foot of snow is definitely a good reason enough not to have to go for that run! I agree lol! Though I find myself I'm delighted when I have an excuse not to do something that takes such effort, but at the end of the day Aren't we so much more better off! Why do we moan about it ha! We feel so good after exercise and fresh air! Well done, great image too. Good luck.with the contest
Best Wishes

Thanks, Nicki. I usually have to twist my own arm to get out there.

Nicely done. I haven't been able to run for years. I do remember the joy it gave me and the feeling of freedom. Perhaps the local Y has an inside track. Check around and you might be able to find one somewhere. Have a good weekend. Karen

Thanks, Karen. COVID has kept me out of the YMCA. If I was younger, it would be different.

Hi Paul, This little poem says a lot. The twenty syllables paint a vivid image of you tucked up in bed under the covers. Nicely done. - Terry

Well said Paul. We are in the middle of a heatwave! I guess a lot of folks work from home when they can't drive in the snow. And all that shovelling! We are fortunate. I live in the sub-tropics. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for you 20 syllable poem. Cheers, Kay.

Thanks, Kay. Why did you have to remind me of shoveling? LOL

Hee, Hee! I have only seen snow once.

I have run, even in the snow Paul, but not anymore. I enjoyed your rhymes and snow is the next thing on the menu I expect for you guys. We don't have much snow during the winter, just flurries, a fun two liner, love Christine x

You took the 20-syllable challenge and wrote a rhyming couplet that shows us how sensible you are! I think with snow and ice on the road, it's best to jog/run on a trampoline indoors! Best wishes in the contest!

Thanks, Helen. I never though of a trampoline. I would probably hurt myself on one of those things.

I have a mini-trampoline and it's only four feet across. You can bounce on it while watching TV or listening to a book. It's good for your lymphatic system, too!

This one is a fun little poem, simple and within the 20 syllable count. I'm really enjoying see where everyone went with this one since there's not a lot of room to play with.
