Sally,
What a wonderful poem in tribute to a marriage of hearts that these two have for each other. Fifty years together is quite an accomplishment but their endless love and devotion for each carried them through and more to come.

I really like the Free Verse style, it allows for so muvh expression. It beautifully written and is very thoughtful of the love they shared. There is a stanza is don't understand, "Creating what they knew they could be together" Is there a typo here?
Liked the verses and the presentation.

You?re welcome. I guess it is not an expression with which I am familiar, but I do understand it now. Language is pretty dynamic, points of reference as well.

I did, and read her last two. Nice thought you two write of others.
ANd I see a comment from her after I let her know I missed her and for the second time in a week, I was told the two were not getting fan notices any longer and don't know why.

How wonderful to have a house filled with love for all those years, 50 golden years!! My youngest son was born in July that year. I loved the poetic form here, I've not seen it before. What a beautiful poem for such a beautiful couple. How exciting to celebrate a love as strong and enduring as theirs. 50 years is a long time to know someone, lol, and to be married that long speaks a lot about patience and strength. Also, the shared love of God had to be the mortar that held them together. Congratulations, Debi and Glen! You're a great example to us all.
