Thank you so much for the fantastic review and huge sixer, pretty. I have to admit, rankings on here don't actually mean all that much to me. I just couldn't believe I was up there with how little I've posted this month. Some folks do go to this extreme for the rankings so I just had to poke some along the way. Lol. That's all I was really going for, to give the masses a chuckle or two. I'm glad you liked this silliness. Thank you again.

I have to confess that in the back of my mind, I too have the wish to "be on top" though I know it's never going to happen, because I too will never get those 2 posts a day. LOL I really think that some people must just spend money so they can post so high all the time. It's kind of brutal. I can read all day long and not have enough money for that.
I've got no idea how people do that.

Hey, Susan, hello. Yeah, some of these people have to be rainbow, leprechaun end finders. I could review for a year and not have enough fake cash to promote to the top like some folks do. When I win the lottery, that's when I'll have that kind of cash flow.

As far as being on top, throughout the many years I've been on here, not once have I ever wished for rankings amongst the masses. I was mystified when I saw I was within the top 10 poets since the new year. With the little bit I've posted since then, I seriously don't think I should have even been on the list. Once I saw this, that's when I came up with this ridiculous idea and decided to run with it. Haha.

That's how I got hooked so many years ago. I won a couple of my first contest posts and now that's the only thing I do on here...contests. I thought this was hilarious! Your meter is perfect and the rhyming couldn't be better, so why not throw six stars at it? I know the feelings you describe... One morning I awoke to see I was number one in the rankings. I think that lasted about four seconds. I simply cannot post two poems a day, or even one, and as the year progresses, I'm sure I will continue the downward slide like snow on a hot tin roof. But you have certainly proven yourself to be a worthy poet with this rhythmic and totally delightful spoof. I loved it. Thanks for the laugh and for poking a little fun at yourself, and us.

There really is no reason for you to fade into the backdrop, as you put it, if you want to be as prolific as is necessary to hold onto your position. You have a lot of fans who love your work. Go for it!
