Wouldn't it be nice if it was just that easy. Found this quite humorous, and a light little ditty. Good train of thought all the way through. I don't think I would change except maybe. me & god in the first stanza......Just my thought; well carry on keep things up & forward....Robi

hahahahhahahahha. This is quite humourous, I enjoyed it very much. When I first started to read it I wasn't sure where it was going but it's fantastic, well done my friend.

Thanks, Rachel. I've never had a laugh quite that long.

This poem, The Devil's Dilemma, certainly puts Pat McGee in a rare spot and makes him come off like a best guy that ever got sent to Hell. Wonder if he'd like to be President?

Thanks, Bill. He'd sure as hell do a better job than Joe. Maybe they can trade places.

Bwaaa Hahaha! Good one. Place the Welsh surname, Freeman, and you got my father. His friends called him St. Leigh. Everyone loved him, except The Mother.

Hahaha, I really liked this, and it was funny to boot. I loved it. This is certainly a different take on Hell and heaven. That Patrick is living to his Irish reputation.
It's very well written, and I had a good laugh. Ulla:)))

Good Morning, Paul,
Your Patrick is wonderfully wicked!
A delightful romp in rhyme that I much enjoyed.
Although lengthy, my interest was definitely maintained throughout, and I laughed aloud at the thought of Patrick taking over Hell... Creative and fun!
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, Diane. Patrick is such a character that It takes a long poem to deal with him. I have spread him over three poems already, and I'm working on a fourth.
Comment from Susan Newell
What a delightful poem, and so original. The thought of God and Satan trading souls is quite humorous, and I love the thought of Satan being irritated. The lawyers in hell was another bonus. The introduction of Purgatory to keep Pat out of the hairs of both is ingenious. That Pat McKee is quite the character. You did exceptionally well with the rhyming. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks, Susan. Did you get a chance to read the other two Patrick McKee poems?

I think I might have read one of them before. I'll go check.

I literally "laughed out loud" when reading this poem! Your choice of words is amazing and the fluidity of the rhyme is so well done. The picture too is perfect with this. Truly a six star work!

This is very comical and very well-written. I laughed the whole way through and the rhyme and rhythm work beautifully together. Quite an interesting conversation between God and the Devil, but I noticed, God gave him no answers. Good luck with the contest~
