This was a great story. When did you go blind? Wondering about all that stuff on the stairs a bit of a hazard getting up and down side rails a bit useless. Good picture though where did that come from? One spag. it [c](s)inged our feet. (You only did that once.)

Thank you for the outstanding review and generous stars, dear Geoff. I appreciate the typo catch. I began to go blind when I was 54 years old. I am now 65. I didn't have this problem back then although I didn't have the best vision in the world. I still got around pretty well.
Sending my best today as always and blessings for your day,
Sal XOs....

Ha! I turn 70 next March. Not sure I wrote in my autobiography about my Double Vision. I didn't know I had that till later in life. I had a turn in my left eye corrected as a little, and I was always having these sessions where I would be put in front of a machine and look at a (for example) - a lion and a cage. the job was to get the lion into the cage. Ha.

I'll pray about that eye! My other issue besides retinitis pigmentosa is cataracts. It obscures my little bit of precious sight. Please pray.

I did also have a Detatched Retina in the right eye in 1993. I had been experiencing "floaties" I wrote about this in my book pretty sure or Louise's trip book, the silly old Ophthalmologist I had seen just prior to our holiday in Western Australia in 93 MISSED the floaties and it was not picked up till I consulted a new Specialist some time later. Then I was put onto a Retinal Specialist who eventually operated never mind the first experience with the THREE injections for local anaesthetic around the eye! Then having to go under again later for fluid removal and KNOWING what was coming the second time with the needles!

Poor Sally, she may or may not be a witch, but she sure is a grouch, I can tell you were a sunny child. My granddaughter is eight, going on sixteen. She's about to turn nine, the apple of my eye. This is beautifully written, your mum certainly loved and protected you. Beautifully written, Sally

You did a great job on your story and thank you for the two video's. I enjoyed both. Did your witch give you any trouble after your mother ran her off? Shirley
