A retina transplant is high risk. I have two small cataracts on each eye and my doctor won't risk removing those. It said it's just not worth it and I could lose what precious little I have remaining. I did ask. Thanks so much for the sweet review, dear. It is so appreciated,

Have you had a second opinion? Laser surgery is done on cataracts in Thailand as a matter of course.
What about a complete eyeball transplant? I am desperate for you!

This is a very well-written story of you journey into near blindness. It was a terrible diagnosis and I'm sure I would be have cried as well. You are a brave lady to rise above but what else can you do other than let it take you under. You are an excellent writer. You have this listed as biographical fiction. It seems to me it should be non-fiction.
