Oh my! This is a wonderful chapter! So much suspense and danger. I hope Mildred and Tommy are saved. I don't see anything that needs to be corrected since Mildred' s country dialect would have her saying of instead of have.

I'm so pleased you got Mildred's dialect, I listen to it a lot and then hope that I can carry it over into my writing. I tend to think like Mildred when I'm writing her parts. Thank you so much for this review, I really appreciate it. :)) Sandra xx

Oh Sandra, what a cliff-hanger of an ending - perfect! How are the Americans coping with Mildred's dialect LOL? I see you are climbing the ladder of success - number two on the rankings.

I've finished my stuff but scared to upload. I know it will be a mess again. I tried what you told me to do (way back) but only half the poem leapt to the next page.
I've read a bit about this thing - apparently uploading to PDF is poor for poetry as it does not recognise page endings. Even Footnotes in a book get submerged up in as part of the script. Charming! Nice to see you surging along nicely - must be a very satisfying feeling. Love Dorothy xx

They did have a few problems at the beginning of the series, but they love Mildred, she is everyone's favourite, lol. She started off as a maid, and grew. Thank you so much for the 6 stars, my friend. I'm going to slow down a little now as I've not had much time to do reviewing and other things that need attention. Another exciting chapter. Good bit of tension added to the evacuation regarding the boy and his father's watch. Noticed a couple wordy spots: It had been decided by the matrons... (The matrons decided) and It was while I was watching the porters (While I was watching the porters). Ends with suspense. Well done.

Wow! What an exciting chapter, Sandra. You ended at such a crucial point. I'm glad the patients were all evacuated. I never thought Mildred would be trapped. This is intense, but written well. There is much action, great dialogue, and the threat of the Zepplins adds to the story. Then there is the bombing that starts. Great job. Thanks for sharing. Jn

LOL, Mildred has taken over as the lead character in this series. When I began this two years ago? she was just a maid, but everyone liked her so much, she hung around and took over. Y have your readers hoping that Tommy gets her out of the lift before the whole thing comes crashing down on them all. AS always your dialogue is perfectly penned.
