Hi, Sandra,
Even well-bred ladies know how to stage a brawl. And, there's no stopping them when they get 'group-think- going.
This was another great chapter - and I'm not entirely sure Mildred will be too successful at keeping things calm.

She knew how to rile the them up - delete 'the' from here.
and then unceremoniously thrown inside - can one be thrown ceremoniously? lol

I like Amelia, too. She is how I would imagine a genteel lady back in the day. I'll look for another word to show how Gladys was out into the van. It wouldn't be gentle with her kicking and screaming at the police. Hmm, I'll think on that one. Thank you, Gareth, for your help again, and I'm glad you are still enjoying it. Great story. A lot of dialogue between the characters which was excellent! I like how split the story in little paragraphs, it was easy to read that way instead of cramming it all together like other stories I've read. - Anntonette
