Engaging, thrill-filled, with a good cadence. Even in a horror theme it was easy to read and with well-balanced rhyme and rhythm. Although I felt the "thriller theme" flowing throughout it did not make me jump. But enjoyable!

Hello Dean read your poem and the first thing that came to my mind is what Edgar Allen Poe said---
Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.

This is yet another interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. You are indeed a horror writer. Well done yet again. I am enthralled by your writing once again.

I love the art that complements your poem. Your poem is about horror, which is your favourite and I like it too. It rhymes and flows well. A pleasure to read and review.

Yes, you are a horror writer Dean, and a good one. I love your work and presentation. I understand that it is scary for some people, but life has its dark sides too. That's the way it is. So don't stop writing horor! You must write where you are good in. We all do. Great rhytm and rhyme here. Again a great one!! Fia

Hi Dean Kuch,
That's one creepy picture at the end of this post, but as you say we write best when we are passionate about the subject.
Nicely written, I liked the analogies.

This is a flowing poem that shows your passion for horror and what everyone looks for in horror writing and movies. I, myself, am not a horror fan. At least not the gory kind. I do like thrillers once in a while.
The mind is where all ideas come from. So what happened in your life to make you so into horror. Perhaps a parent who loved horror movies.
Nice choice of illustration that brings to mind Alien and martian movies.
Keep writing
Happy New Year.

Dean, it goes without saying that horror is your forte. Unfortunately for me, it does not top the list of my reading preferences, although I have read a number of your posts. Continue and on;y good things will happen.

You are the master of your passion. (good line) I remember the first time I saw one of your pieces, I was just blown away. I knew that someday I would have to figure out how you did all of it. Well, I have a little bit figured out and I have some non-scary but strange horror offerings under my belt. As long as there's progress!! Great stuff as always. Looking forward to more. mikey
