Your imagery is very realistic and one could just picture the whole scene.

Oh my goodness, I'm cracking up laughing as I type. This is a wonderful story that I'm sure parents can relate to. If we haven't experienced it, we've feared it happening anyway. You have a very nice story structure, as I find is usual for your work, by the way. Your paragraph breaks make the story very readable and it does well aloud as well as silently read. That last line, the kicker, is priceless! Great work!
