It helps the sufferer to share the suffering. Your eyes are precious. I hope the doctors don't wait too long to do the operation. Not that I know what they are going to do. It must be annoying and scary and I hope you can have a corneal transplant soon. K xx

OMGosh, Carol, you dear and wonderful friend. I wondered if this wasn't a bad idea to post about this, but after a long six months of horrific treatment, the last one was too much to take. And then after receiving so many people asking how it was going and so many prayers in my PMs. I thought it was time.
Thank you so very much for your prayers and for this wonderful heartfelt review and sweet comments.
Thank you with all my heart for your big heart.
With so much love back to you. Debi

Thank you for updating us, so we know how to pray more specifically. God knows what you need, of course. You've been through a long ordeal the past year. Blessings & love. Carol

Infections are so hard to get rid of. I have had a few but eventually the right treatment comes along. Hope your doctor finds the right treatment for you. Writing a poem about an eye infection is a little unusual, but it is well written and it is the thing at the top of your mind every time you open your eyes in the morning. Prayers that it gets better.

Thanks Carol, I would have never have written this poem, except that so many have been asking about it since it started six months ago. I wanted to thank all of those who said they would pray for me, so thank you for being one of them. It's not what you would call an infection really, but a lot of harsh infections, and after a lot of harsh treatments, there is only one thing that will clear it up and that is a cornea transplant and it is a year and a half of healing. But they can't do it unless they can heal the infections. So that is why prayer is so important right now. So thank you again. I appreciate it so much, dear Carol. Love, Debi

I'm glad you let us know of the severity of your eye condition and the extensive treatment you are enduring. I know how difficult it is to tell others about health problems. My thoughts and prayers are always with you. I am posting a special prayer for you.

Dear Debi, I'm so sorry to read that this problem is still with you and foxing even the doctor. It's such a challenge for you when you've got so much spirit and desire to keep doing the things you love. Medical conditions, as we age, can be very frustrating. We expect them to get better as they always seem to have done in the past but, instead, the body slows down and resists. Clearly, though, you've got great medical care and there must be so much research out there that your doctor will be determined to tap into for you. And, at the end of the day, there's the option of corneal transplant. Stay strong, Debi, and thank you for sharing this excellent explanatory verse. Love Debbie

I'm so sorry to hear you are continuing to have trouble with you eyes. A writer needs their eyes and no one wants to give up the ability to see. It is encouraging that nerve can grow back an your nerves did. I really liked the way you explained the problem in poem form.

I wouldn't have thought to post this but it has just gotten to that point where I need the prayers. So thank you with all my heart for your big heart.

Thank you Debi, I passed out ending up getting a pacemaker but that hasn't bother me nearly as much as the lingering nerve pain from shingles I got in December. It is in back and shoulder so I can't sit long at the computer. I appreciate your prayers and I'll definitely keep you in mine.

My dear sweet sis...
My heart breaks when I hear or read about this. Your poem details your trial and your notes support it.
You know you have the love and support from me and do many others here on this site.
Honestly, but reading your birthday poems and family stories, one could never tell the suffering you're enduring.
You know I love you!

OMGosh, you sweet and wonderful brother and friend. I wouldn't have posted this except I had so many PMs asking me how it was going. I had one tell me it was a little unusual for me to post about an eye infection. Believe me I wouldn't have made a fool of myself for that, but I truly need the prayers. So thank you again.

I am so sorry that you're enduring this and I totally understand. I don't have the problem with my cornea, what I have his a problem with my retina and there's nothing they can do for my retina to restore it. At least not at this point there may come a day when they will be able to fix the condition that I have but for right now there's nothing they can do. I wish you the very best and I pray that Someway somehow you'll be able to get the cornea transplant so that you will have good vision in that eye. Patricia.
