This two-four-two brings out feelings of release by fire. The soul is released at death absorbed into God, The fire of cremation releases the body back to the elements. Very good write.

My chosen route as my boys well know when my time comes, then bury what's left at the foot of an oak.
But cremation always brings to mind the totally hilarious Monty Python sketch 'The Undertaker'

Making the effort to express myself through words whether it be

Your poem says so much with so few words. The word "Cinders" instantly sets a mood of change. Ending with "Heaven" feels like a triumph. It's amazing how much emotion you shared. Stunning!
