This is a way beyond brilliant. A truly fantastic parody on a great 1970's Queen song. It sounds every bit as good as the original version. I can't get the smile off my face. Was this ever recorded professionally? To me, it certainly sounds good enough. Very good and very professional. As poetry, it is also full of merit. Most enjoyable.

Okay, so Iza and I have a lot in common from what I have read. I am 50, she is 49. She's a writer, I'm a writer. She has cats, I used to have cats. BUT, most importantly of all, we are both single and want to stay that way! (You thought I was going in a different direction there, didn't you! *grins*)
I love how you use the two-line stanzas for her cats. I also loved all the "cat" puns you used throughout. I should have pulled them out while I read, but no, let me go back and find them (it's like an Easter egg hunt!).

Hey sweetie, I get to see you three times tonight. Wow. Iza is just called her name Iza Delaneau. I always put their pen name in the introduction part by the title. Yup she just uses her name.
