Well, I'm not quite 18 years old yet, but I checked the line that promised I was:-)
Right off the bat, I thought a woman was narrating and the "jaws of time" were tightening around a man's throat.
It's a game - just like that of an animal's. You describe summing up the target and going in for the kill perfectly.
"residual cream that clings in glistening clots before she swallows it down" - Girl, don't tell me you're talking about a damn cinnamon roll!
I knew your ending would NOT be what was expected, but you still got me.
Rachelle, I gave my last 6 away a couple of hours ago. I will have to give you a virtual 6, or perhaps I should say 69 in this case.
You write this like a woman with some experience:-) Did you go to a coffee shop and conduct your own experiment before writing this?
It was awesome, and I'm sure you had several readers running to the showers.
I think you've got this contest wrapped up with a pretty brick red bow attached. No "good luck" wishes needed.
I skipped all other messages in my inbox when I saw your name, and I wasn't disappointed.
xoxo

I am so TOO talking about a cinnamon roll, you sicko you!!
Thank you for this really, REALLY nice review. It's a six in my heart, and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for all these gracious, encouraging comments. So very much appreciated.

I absolutely love the ending of the contest entry. Thank you for sharing it with us. Your description of the male character was excellent. I could visualize his every gesture. I doubt you'll need it but good luck with the contest.

Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
Oh yes, this is erotica but with taste. In fact, I'm not even sure you needed the warning. It's all in the mind of the hunter searching for his purring cougar. Some beautiful and stylish imagery in his imagination as he unbuttons her blouse and then waits for her "feral growl." The anticipation of the catch is the key to sexy. It shows in his piercing eyes as this unspoken message of lust and attraction is conveyed, boring through the distraction around her and giving her undivided focus and attention. This will appeal more to women, I think, than men who will be looking for something a lot more explicit and carnal. But it's got me going! Well done and good luck! Deb xo
