This is such a beautiful ode to teachers. Your rhymes and descriptive words carry a clear image, of which I am familiar. I was a teacher for nearly 30 years and I each day I looked forward to getting into work. I was a teacher in various settings and was working with students with varying needs and abilities. I felt the students i was blessed to know, were my heroes, too. There is so much we adults must slow down to learn from children and teens. Well written work here.
Best wishes

Thanks so much!

This almost made me tear up. It is so well-written in its heartfelt message and beautiful tribute to teachers, who are many times under-appreciated. We don't realize it, but they really are "a big deal". They impact little lives that, in turn, help determine the kind of adults the world will be left with. I worked as an aide in the school system for several years, and I saw many teachers who put their heart and soul into their jobs. I had high respect, admiration, and appreciation for them. In any case, this was such a beautiful poem... a perfect one, I'd say. Each line was profound, the message was beautiful, the meter was flawless, and you even managed to make lines 1 and 3 as well as 2 and 4 rhyme. May God continue blessing your talent. All the best. Thanks for this lovely piece.
