Wow. This poem told the story of the beauty of natures, sounds and color. The sun, flowers, running water, all left a vivid picture in my mind as I'm writing this.
Great cadence and rhymes.

Willie, you do paint a beautiful picture of where you grew up. The photo you chose illustrates the poem nicely. Unfortunately, I grew up in a city in the oil patch of West Texas. It was a day's drive to a place that had a river or stream. Excellent work. Terry.

I'm not sure why the second-to-last couplet has a question mark, though. It seems more like a statement than a question. Regardless, you painted a beautiful scene. Jim

Hi Willie,
This poem of rhyming couplets is a good push to get us to appreciate the beauty around us in all seasons. We often take the beauty for granted and don't really appreciate it. Sitting in a field of flowers sounds good right now while we are under much snow and are getting more today and tomorrow.
The repetition of the questions is a good method to get the point across.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
