We can never completely list all the life lessons we've learned from our parents and grandparents. Memories will rise now and then to remind us how much we owe them for helping us become who we are today. You did very well with your interpretation of this artwork. I enjoyed the read.

June, thank you.

What a lovely peaceful poem to go with the peaceful scene in the picture. I could visualise the father and son sitting together, and and the father gently teaching the little boy how to fish. I found the whole thing so calming. Well done. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra, thank you!

Your narrative poem sets the scene of a father and son fishing in a moonlit lake. We see the father with his arm on the son's back, talking. But cite examples of what "life lessons" he might have shared.

Your words bring this reader right into the scene with you. The description of this fishing moment in time is exquisite. From the moonbeams to the ribbets of the frogs, you transported me and I am grateful for that journey.
