It is helping me to think and remember, and learn how to appreciate my past, the bad along with the good. I wish you success in the contest. Grief is a difficult emotion to handle because it can be so raw, and even when it settles into a place we can handle, it doe snot go away completely. I, too, have found writing to be cathartic.
