This is a very well written heartfelt poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and lovely art work. There are some griefs that seem to be harder to let go of no matter how hard we try. You did the right thing giving asking for God to help you my friend. love and blessings, Teri

Wow. I never realized rain could do so much, seriously. I found myself imagining the rain doing all these things and how you felt about that. The stanza that made me think the most, though all of them did make me pause and think, was:
Each rivulet must run its course
and each sad day must decompose.
I found His promise in the rain
that nourishes tomorrows rose.
Running the course, we will have good days and bad days, but often we just see the bad. You found the promise in the rain. You CHOSE to see it as nourishment, as having a purpose. Rain can be depressing and bring a mood down, but even dark days have a purpose.
Well done in rhyme, meaning, presentation and notable is the structure with the large titles above each stanza.

Your unusual labeling format is nicely done and the rhyming sings. I find nothing here to criticize. Well done so keep your enthusiasm for sharing your work with us.

A very creative poem that uses the stages of grief to reach an understanding or at least acceptance of what happened to cause the grief. I am acutely aware of how a little thing can trigger a deep emotional response. Outstanding work.

This was a superingenious poem and I have enjoyed each line. I especially liked this stanza: "Bargaining
Each rivulet must run its course
and each sad day must decompose.
I found His promise in the rain
that nourishes tomorrows rose." it made me think of the life waves, good and bad in one line. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Sometimes it helps to write about the deepest griefs. I wrote several short stories about the death of my only son In 1985. I recall writing with tears running down my face, but it did seem to help. I hope this writing has done the same for you.

Thank you for the encouraging review. So sorry for the loss of your son those many years ago. My son is alive but lost to me since 1995. My writing helps but the pain comes back from time to time.
Blessings and Happy New Year.
