-Very nice image,
presentation, and
shape of your poem.
-The syllable count is good,
along with the topic and imagery.
-You make some good points
about tears; they cannot literally
remove pain, but they can ease it,
depending on the person.
-I like the ending with "sunshine's
warmth" and "life's promise."
-Good luck in the contest.

Dry those tears, ma'am.
They do shit for your make-up, and the world needs to see your beautiful face and smile!

A lovely etheree that offers hope that after the rain, the sun will shine again. From the ashes love will rise again like the Phoenix. But first, the tests...

Thanx so much for the review, June - always so good to hear from you. Not sure I want anything to do with an intimate love anymore... :) :)

This is a coherent Etheree exploring the philosophy of tears and the role they play in our human lives -the sentiments here are profound 'wash away/love's ashes on a scorched heart '

The author's words are engaging, give hope, are descriptive and creative.
The words this author uses defines a beautiful way that tears can comfort
us and lead us to being hopeful once again. Have a good week!

This is beautifully worded and beautifully presented. The picture pairs nicely with your words. You followed the rules and said a lot in a few words. It is well done.

I like the structure, but I've always seen tears as a kind of cleansing act - cry out the pain and feel better (at least to all the romantic comedies my mother watches). But your terms work as well. Good luck with the contest.

Comment from Ogden
There is wisdom in your optimistic Etheree!
You also might have advised, "Don't cry over spilt milk." (I think there are some other appropriate adages.)

In fact, tears may water the new day's happiness by washing away the first rush of sadness. Tears are often healthy things. Well done with your etheree.
