Oh wow!! How on Earth did you work out all of that storyline?! It'll take me awhile to get my head around everything Mildred revealed!

What a brilliant job you've done with this story. :-)

You should be proud!

One small correction:

But being James, who had often helped us with his research, he decided he would look up these facts up on the internet. (Omit the second 'up' and my spell check indicated internet should be capitalized: Internet)

Awe, Sandra, this is a fabulous ending. I wish I could give you tree times the six stars. What a wonderful way you tie up the loose ends. I Love it! And how I will miss the story! But it has now come to a wonderful end. Thanks so much for sharing it all with us. Big hugs, my friend. Ulla xxxx

Bless your heart, thank you so very much, Ulla, for this terrific review and all the lovely stars. I'll miss them but I want to write some for Eric now, and then, who knows? Mildred is still around and so are the rest of the family. Thanks for always being so supportive, my friend. I've really appreciated it. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I wish I could give you a hundred sixes. What a trip this story has been, and what talent it took to write it. This last chapter would have been confusing if it had been written by a less capable author. How clever you are to have worked all this out and tied all the loose ends up. I hope to see another book by you in the near future. I always look forward to your posts. Today, my impulse was to review you first, but I made myself go down the list and save the best for last!!!!!

Aww, Yvonne, thank you so very much, you couldn't have said anything nicer. Thank you for always being so supportive of my story, you've been great. The six stars are fabulous, but what you said is worth so much more to me, my friend. Sending you a ginormous hug. :)) Sandra xxx

Your great great grandma is your nanny, that would be so cool. I've always wondered if reincarnation really happens. Guess we'll never know.
Your chapter wrapped up everything nicely. The part about the old asp running through town yelling obsenities made me laugh. What Tommy said was perfect, they don't know just how right he is, hehehe. I hope Charles has a long long stay. This was a perfect ending to a terrific book, thank you for sharing it with us. I do hope it brings you a lot of success. I do hope you'll post another story soon.

Very nice, well-worked out and satisfying conclusion to this book and the trilogy. Very nice closing line, funny and apt.

I did notice in this piece that sometimes you clipped the 'g' from ing words for Mildred and other times don't.

He'd a been dead if you hadn't sorted it and look what the world would've missed out on with his scientific discovery" - need punctuation before the closing speech marks here.

I know, it's right weird, isn't it. - you may need a question mark here.

All the best
G

There were quite a few 'g's left on Mildred's words. I've been over it all again. It doesn't matter how many times I check it out, there are always some I've missed. This is what I like about my reviewers, they will point them out. Thank you, Gareth, for another lovely review, I'm glad you liked the way it all ended. Who knows, Mildred and co, might want to be dragged back out again some time. Not yet a while. I've promised Eric I'd write some more adventures for him. Big hugs, my friend, and thank you for all your help over the last three plus years that I've been writing the three books. :)) Sandra xx

What a great epilogue, dear. your development of MIldred's character is phenomenal! Great closing note. GReat pacing, characterization in general, dialog diction and sentence mechanics. Just a few spag nits to note:

*That's when I started helpin' in the hospital an' first met Tommy,(;) I were twenty-seven.

*An'(,) by the way, that other me don't know nothin'

* I was asked if I'd help you and dear Mrs Humphries(,) who were being ill-treated by her father-in-law, Sir John.

*"When those powers told me what they wanted, there weren't a chance I'd be saying no, (')cause me family wouldn't've been born.

"There has t' be a reason, (')cause if I don't..."

* Mildred was right, the fact that she was now back to being the old Nanny Mildred,(NO COMMA) didn't faze them at all.

*
We sat down that night after the children had gone to bed(,) and Mildred began her story again for James.

*
The Admiralty regrets to inform us that Vice Admiral Charles Pembrock has been detained in the Bethlem Psychiatric Hospital for his own, and bystander's(,) protection

I enjoyed reading your work, and feel sorry I could not get to every chapter. I love time-travel stories, and this is a good one!

Bravo!

Love,
rd

A beautiful wrap-up. I'm happy to know the Admiral's fate was apt. And now I am going back to read the entire book! I hope to see the trilogy in print!

It seems bitter-sweet to be reading the last chapter because, much though I enjoyed it, knowing the book is finished makes me sad. Well done, my friend. There aren't many who can claim to have written a trilogy, and to such a high standard with superb characters.
I look forward to seeing it on the big screen one day!
