Bravo my friend this was perfectly penned full of tension that you maintain throughout the piece. Man I hated the ending that wasn't if I had you entire book in my had I would still be reading. You are a pleasure to read. I can't offer anything to improve the piece all I can offer is applause BRAVO!!!

What a really lovely review, Rob, thank you so very much for that, and all those lovely stars, as well. I'm delighted you are still enjoying the story. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

You did a great job with this chapter, Sandra. The action was intense and the dialogue pertinent. I was right there with Veronica as she looked for help and getting the bolt loose on the first door. What a great place to end this chapter. That will really make readers come back to find out what she found. Thanks for sharing. I see nothing wrong. Jan

Holy Moses, Sandra!
Victoria certainly is upset! And well she should be!
What an imaginative and action-packed chapter! So very detailed and yet, the reader is able to follow along easily. Entertaining...even if it is at Victoria's expense!
Thank you for sharing! Well-paced!

Thank you so much, Diane, for all those shiny stars, and fabulous review. Poor Veronica, I'm going to have to give her a break, I think she has suffered enough. lol. But, first she has to find out how bad it is behind the door! :)) Thanks again, my friend. Sandra xx

This was another engaging chapter. The reaction to the flying chalk was both comical and problematic. I loved the "fast as a whippet" bit. Well done. Cheers, Rhonda

Hi Jax, it's lovely to see you on here again. I'm going to try and get some poetry done soon for the 'pic this' it's been so long! Thank you for popping in and reading this part, this book is a lot more complex with it bouncing back and forward from the Suffragette era to WW1 and home. LOL, it keeps me on my toes though. Are you writing any more novels? Big hugs my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

frustration reach boiling point.
I could really get to hate the words "to be continued," LOL Poor Veronica. Guess the life of a ghost isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's a shame she had to waste so much time in the tailor shop just to get no where. Great chapter, kiddo.

I found this interesting. Since Veronica, time traveler is a ghost it goes without saying her moving things is going to make people afraid. Determination is what got the bolt to move. I hope she opened it in time. If she did then the people coming from the hospital would cause havoc with the dressmaker people because of the frightening experience with things moving. Very well done.

Thank you for another lovely review, Sandra. No, Veronica is not a ghost, she is very much alive and kicking in her own time, but the powers-that-be have sent her into the past invisible so she is not seen by anyone while she is moving in and out of places. Mildred is her best friend and is a time traveller too, but she has been sent back in time in a visible form, between them they can do lots of things, but at the moment, Veronica is frustrated at not being able to do much of anything. I am going to write a little synopsis about this. I hope it will all become clear soon. I'm afraid all this was set out in the first book. how all this started. Thanks again,, my friend. Sandra xxx

I didn't mean she was a ghost, but people would see her as a ghost, being invisible and moving things. That is what I meant. Thank you for your response.

I hope I haven't upset you, Sandra. I didn't realise you knew Ver wasn't a ghost. I had a review earlier from a reader who has read all the books and had forgotten how Veronica was able to pick things up and move things. So I've now put a reminder at the end of how it started. So many of my reviewers came into this way after it began, and I can understand they would need some background info. I should have thought about it ages ago. Anyway, Sorry if you thought I was being funny, I wasn't, honestly! :( xxxx Sending an extra hug, xx

I just thought you thought I believed she was a ghost, because I put ghost and didn't explain why I put ghost. It is all good.

Thank goodness!! I hate thinking I've upset anyone, and you have been so nice. :) xxx

Poor frustrated Veronica, she certainly got the attention of the men in the room, and how, but they run away, really scared, and who can blame them, this looked like a poltergeist.
She is truly angered by the powers that be, as the prophets were sometimes angered with God. She gets the bolt across, but what's on the other side? Well done Sandra, great episode. Blessings, Roy

I love that the prophets were sometimes angry with God, that makes it so much easier to bear when we get angry with Him. Although not for long, but sometimes I think we all wonder if He is listening to us, especially when we lose someone we love to early. There you go, your words always get me thinking, in the nicest way! lol. Thank you so much, my dear friend, for another delightful review. Big hugs, Sandra xxx

He always listens, but trust is learnt and walked in. . Bless you Sandra,

Wow, this was a chapter and a half, Sandra. Veronica is angry at the powers to be and I don't blame her. She's getting ahead by shear willpower. But what is really hap pening here? I can't quite figure it out. Hurry up with the continuation, please. Excellent writing as always, dear friend. A big hug. Ulla xxx

Another good chapter, my friend. I could the tension in your writing. I thought Veronica came up with a pretty clever solution. Can't wait to see what she finds when the door gets opened
