That does sound bad Sandra. I swear I don't know how you keep up with the comings and goings in your story. I am
interested as to the why of the matter. What did the Admiral do when his wife was arrested? O would be searching deeper to the outcome of that arrest. Good Job.:) Nancy

Hi Chuck, so pleased you have come on. I went looking for your book but it says it's sold out. You must be doing really well with it!! Let me know when more come onto Amazon.
Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, my friend!! I could do with a bit of time-travelling, too! There are a few things I'd like to sort out along the way. lol. Big hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandy xxx

Sandy, the book is selling but never sold out. Many places have it. Barnes& Nobel, Books a million, Not sure why Amazon said that. It is printed on demand. Let me know if you are still having trouble finding it. I will see you get a copy.
Thanks for being me friend.

I will. That is strange. I wondered if it was because your publisher hadn't sent them enough stock. I'll try again. xx

Wonderful, Sandra. As usual the story is a joy to read, and we now know that they are soon to be send back. But this time Veronica will be invisible. I'm really looking forward to that. But meanwhile, it doesn't bode well for Gladys Pembroke.
Just a couple of minor things:
In this case, even an idiot would know which outcome had to be chosen. = A comma before 'which'
'Good. Mildred, on the other hand, will be more use in the open = ' ..., will be of more use in the open
Looking forward to what's next. Hugs. Ulla, xxx

Thank you so very much for the 6 lovely stars, Ulla! That is so nice of you. I'll nip back and sort the commas out. I always either miss them out, or put them in where they shouldn't be! No, it's not good for Gladys. :( thanks my friend. Big hugs, Sandra xx

Ah, those funky old man are back and messing with the timelines again... naughty, naughty...
Nice continuation as usual. I like catching up with the PTB...lol
for a moment until you stop feeling shaky.' I told her.'- delete the marks from the very end here. 9actually, it belongs on the next line before the It)
I watched Michael kick the ball towards the make-shift goal - makeshift can be a single word.
I can see why women used to faint all - t' to maintain the dialect.
as long as it were hard wearing and practical- 'ard.
It were nice to be dressed up in something - t'.
just a shame I had t' wear - 'ad.
Why else would we have spent the whole time with her - 'ave.
it's t' do with him and his abusive ways - 'im / 'is.
we're goin' t' learn much here - 'ere
Go through again keeping a watchful eye on Mildred's dialectal tics. there may be more of these to address. [you started by clipping the 'h' but don't continue it. either sort out the first couple to include them or alter the rest]
I had a sudden flash-back of him hitting Gladys, - flashback could be a single word.
'Oh, my goodness! Here, listen to this. 'June 5th Lady Gladys Pembrock was arrested today for causing a disturbance alongside other prominent women of the Suffragette Movement. Her trial is fixed for the twelfth of June!' - you open a quote in the dialogue here but don't close it off.

Thank you so much, Gareth, I nearly had a heart-attack when I saw all those errors. I thought I'd caught all those 'h' words. I was putting them back in because I remembered she didn't drop the 'h' in the earlier parts. All sorted now. I must make a visible note of Mildred's dialect, so I don't forget again. I've corrected the others words too. Now, to that piece Veronica was reading out. I had another thought for that as it was at the end of her speech. I've put it in italics now. I'm hoping readers will realise it's not a 'thought' but what she was reading aloud. What do you think? Thank you, my friend, you really deserve winning the reviewer of the month. :)) Sandra xx
-
Yeah, I prefer the italics personally, it's a bit less 'messy'. lol
-
Thanks, Gareth. I tried to nominate you again, but I've already done it once this time. Hmm, I can't help it if you are that good you should be nominated at least once a week! :)

Once again you did a wonderful job writing this. I can't wait to see what happens. So Gladys was arrested. No her horrible husband won't like that. He's important if he met with Churchill. You have my interest.

That is what they have to prevent. But, first they have to find out what it was that has changed the future. Thank you so much for reading this chapter, country ranch writer. I appreciate your support. :)) Sandra x
