In life we face situations which are both good and bad. When we compare ourselves with others we will find that most of the time we should be thanful for the state we are in. Paul, one of the apostles said we should be content in any situation we are .That is the way I see life.

Interesting philosophy. Both are dead or dying. Good job on expressing your feelings. I do agree we need to be happy where we are until we can improve in a good way.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your response and generous rate. This is Holy Text statement with the creation: until we can improve in a good way. Holy Text resolution: a violent second coming. I see all the children of God, angel and us, as the bee or fly. Sad most see death.

Isn't that the flipping truth? Short, sweet, and right to a crystal clear message. Descriptive language says all there is to say. Write on.

So you believe this has some flare and a raw etch of truth. Glad you found delight: and I do appreciate your enthusiasm about the statement definition. Also, thank you for your reply, comments, ranks, insight and review. Right on.

Yes, it is better to be a bee trapped in honey than a fly in a web. Both are doomed, but one death is sweeter than the other. I like the proverb feel of this poem weighing two bad outcomes.
"ed" is needed at the end of "threaten."
Otherwise, I enjoyed this poem's message of being happy where we are. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent response and very insightful in reply: one death is sweeter. I did not see death for neither, the bee can eat. Your statements bring forth the glass half filled and half empty conception. The bee could be slow in sink where the fly might be wrapped to eat. Or fly slightly trapped by web able to move and bee having one leg stuck. Thank you for the head up about poem faults, generous rate and review.

You have an interesting way of looking at life, but to be honest, I am not sure why the bee is better off than the fly. Both are stuck/trapped.
"Then" should be "Than" and "threaten" should be "threatened."

One thing I do want to fulfill is honesty. I agree I have an interesting way of looking at life. The assurance you seek is time: each stuck/trapped victim holding probabilities. The fly is at the end of its candle; but the bee has a chance, moments to consider for aid. Great rate and wonderful review. Thanking you for a leg up with poem faults.

A kind thank you for your reply, review, rate and best wishes. For a moment it does make on think. Believe it or not, out of sixty poems written: this one is my shortest, four lines. I hope you are right about having a cake. I see you understand the issue presented to each concept. Plus an icing. Also the value of one concept over the other. Best wishes to you, too.
