Your 5/7/5 syllabic format was very ingenious and clever and spoke to true words of one who lives in those situations of uninhabitable snow for many. Catching the bus isn't the safest thing to do this year with the severely cold temps but I know many people who've had to do it although I think they did shut the buses down the one day.

You ain't kiddin'! Battery's dead, doors frozen shut, ice, five inches thick, all over the windshield. It's enough to make a mid-westerner cry!
I don't know about you, but I am more than ready for spring. We have at least five more inches, or more, of ice and snow making its way here tomorrow. Have mercy!
