This is yet another interesting poem from the author in this piece of writing. Yes indeed, poetry is all of these things. It is a thing of beauty and wonder.

Thanks Tom, I an glad you enjoyed this silly little piece. I just can't do the two a day thing, I like variety, short stories etc. But we can never write too much. :-) Carolyn

It would be fun to read a continuation of this one... Write, write, write... I've been fighting the chocolate craves all night, but I think I just lost the battle. lOL Thanks for this great review. :-) Carolyn

The metaphors you used for poetry are all accurate. A poem would be endless if we exhausted all applicable metaphors. I agree, chocolate may not apply. Poetry doesn't rot my teeth or make me fat. LOL

Isn't this a silly one, just had to do it. You may continue the metaphors if you like, it would be fun to read. I gain a pound just by looking at chocolate any more. LOL. Have a great week, Carolyn
