This chapter flows so well from start to finish. Rebeka sounds very independent. Tyler's professionalism is very kind. Listening to the baby's heartbeat sounded realistic, but then, I've never had children. The dialogue is well done. Could not find anything to improve on for now.

Rebeka is in the kind of place she has no ability to take care of by herself. She is very fortunate to have run into the doctor's mailbox. She is even more fortunate to learn he has a lawyer friend who knows how to handle her problems. The story is building tension nicely.

Thank you for the kind review. Her running into the mailbox is sort of a serendipitous meeting. LOL

I really enjoyed your story! Tyler's kindness Rebeka made him so easy to like. I loved how you captured Rebeka's hesitation but also her growing trust in him. Especially during the scene with the baby's heartbeat - such a sweet moment! The little touches of humor are wonderful. The dialogue flowed really well - makes it all feel so real. Great job - I can't wait to see where this goes!

Another interesting read with Tyler giving Rebeka more than her fair share of attention. And also Roger attending to her legal affairs. This girl seems to have it all going for her, plus Amber who is a nice contrast to Rebeka's very reserved disposition. Could you remind be how far gone her pregnancy is because the lawyer's intervention seems a bit premature? Thanks for sharing, Barbara. Take care Debbie

She's right at 13 weeks pregnant. Roger was involved because of the stolen money, but... Thank you for the kind review.

Are you kidding me? Thi sis a story I think I would love to see as a feature film. I have no doubt that it would become a favorite. If cast with the right actors, maybe even an award winner. Definitely a contender. This is starting out as another great story.

Barbara,

What a great chapter of your book. I think Tyler has a thing for Rebeka. I think he's going to pursue her till he gets what he wants. Love the tension between them.

How interesting this is, Tyler is most amused by a very vulnerable 22 year pregnant woman in Rebeka, and I suspect despite her precarious position in being in her life is Tyler is probably attracted to her, nobody is more vulnerable and attracts compassion is a pregnant woman, well done Barbara, blessings Roy

"Tyler, this is my assistance, Amber Wilson." assistant

Gee, Rebeka may never leave if she's not feeling well. No reason why she can't extend that vacation a little:-)

Thanks, Barbara.

Thank you for the catch. I'm amazed I didn't catch it in editing. I appreciate the help. Rebeka is a writer, she can write from anywhere. LOL

Great job with this chapter, Barbara. It's obvious that Tyler and Roger will take good care of Rebekah and the baby and prevent any harm to either of them. Good people are something we all need in our lives. Excellent!
Smiles, Carol
