You have very touching words about God's wonderful creation and how nature can heal us, God's natural medicine. Excellent faith based poem with a smooth flow of rhyming words and I like your words about big Pharma's paychecks, so true.

Thank you. There is something fulfilling and uplifting from the truth revealed.

Hi Nomi, I enjoyed reading your rhyming free verse about God's creation of man, the wonders that have come from this but also the mistakes. In particular, you target Big Pharma which represents, if you like, how something which should be so beneficial to us has turned away from the natural world and, instead, made its vast fortunes from its synthesised, addictive and often detrimental products. A powerful example to conclude your theme of trusting in God before investing too much faith in man's fallible and often self-serving creations. I regret I have nothing more to give you, Nomi. But well done! Debbie

Your approval is far more valuable to me than a high rating. As a matter of fact, your approval of my rating is to me, the highest rating available.

All man made things have side effects. Your post speaks to that, all the additives and chemicals that go into processed foods, all the food dyes and preservatives, and all the man made compounds that can fix one thing, but make another thing worse. I'm getting leery about going to the doctor. Some of them are on the take and out to make money too. Sad but true. estory

I once worked at a medical university, and as such was able to see into some of the shady tactics drug salesmen use to get potential customers hooked on what perks they can supply.

Thank you Teri. Just as God has made no mistakes ever. Those who place their complete trust in him, make no mistake as well.

I wrote a review for this and my publisher, Kevin called, and I lost the review. I'm back. Yes, we have choices. All of us have had bad things happen, but it's our choice how we are going to allow it to affect us. I prefer to leave God in charge.

That my dear friend is the only wise choice available. To do anything else is foolishness.

Hi Nomi, you touch on quite a few big issues here. I can totally agree with you about big pharma. They have become too big and domineering in their greed for big profits forgetting about the greater good. Ulla:)))

Yes, so in the end, for many, their only god is money. at whose feet they worship daily.
Comment from Tim Margetts
It was interesting the way this meandered from a look at God's work in creating man and the wonderful world about us, into a bit of a political focus on the corruption of Big Pharma and then back into trusting in God.
Interesting :)

As both things, the worship of God and the worship of money are inextricably tied together. It is difficult to talk about the one without talking about the other.

That is an interesting statement..."No one has ever died from a mistake our God has made" id like to think youre right.
This is a fine poem you have here combining rhyme with some free verse.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Thank you. What a great name you have. Unfortunately I am too old to father anymore children. I would love to have a daughter I could name Katiemae and get away with doing it.

Big Pharma would never let mankind benefit from the natural cures God has provided. Greed has caused most of our problems. But I know our Creator won't allow man to destroy himself or this planet. I put my trust in him.

Thank you. That is a trust well placed. As I stated, man has never suffered because of any mistake the one who defines perfection has ever made.
