In valleys of despair

A beautiful poem, Roy, and one with which all believers can identify. The Christian life is not an easy one, we don't fit in with the world, and yet we are asked to be in the world, shining His light and representing Him to unbelievers, who often scorn our faith. We all have experiences of deep dark valleys as well as the mountain top ones. Well done.

Roy,
What a lovely poem this is. Everyone of them that you write has that Midas touch. They all turn to gold. Like i've said before you have been very Blessed when you pick up that pen an write.

Yes, it is often in the valleys that we learn the most. I like the way you used the repeating line in this Quatern. It fits well in each stanza, and your rhymes are well done. I like the line about turning toward hope's source. Good poem! Thanks for sharing. Blessings. Carol

Beautifully crafted, Roy. Thank you, god, for Jesus--God's love for us in infinite. I pray that all who live find his love.
God bless, my friend.
