This is a hoot! It's fun and entertaining. I love the large print size, which is easy on the eyes. Thanks for letting me know the latest gossip.

Love some of your points, like the thirty day maximum for end dates.
I like the t-short idea but likely they won't have 3XLT's
I'd add no DQ's. If the entry doesn't meet the requirements the reviewers shouldn't vote for it.

I love the artwork, Karen, and I enjoyed reading your dialogue. A good conversation about Tom and the site. A good hook by introducing Ryan Reynolds. I wouldn't mind meeting him! You do a good job pointing out some of the items under discussion recently about the site.
The paragraph about doubling the membership and also being rewarded when they are chosen to be on the review board. I also like the slogan "Punctuation Saves Lives." Very well done.

I think your point about not posting unless you earn the points through reviewing is my favourite. I remember saying the same on the forum once and being practically bullied off in the process. The problem is that this is primarily a social media business to make money and those who buy their dollars are exactly the ones who fit the bill. The literacy side is incidental. I remember when I first came on to the site, I was particularly drawn to having feedback. I had no idea I was going to need to work so hard to post a single piece and get it into a position that it wouldn't simply fall off the edge. I needed a mentor to help me learn and then was shock-horrified by the number of pumps needed. This, in turn, encroaches on any additional time to learn new genres etc which is such a shame.
Sadly, Karen, all this has been said before and nothing will change. The model is etched in stone and it works for those in control. That said, I enjoyed your entertaining approach here. Take care Debbie

I can say things here and not get in trouble. I stupidly gave Tom a list when I first got here. About how to talk to publishing houses to ghost review so they can pick up new fresh writers. That would be a huge draw I thought. But, is you can't go through the door, go out the window. Thanks for the read. Karen

Once every other year you review for a month? Seems okay to me. I have won a lot of ribbons writing, but I have never won one from the review board. Does that make sense to you? Anyhoo, this was fun to do. Thanks for the read. Karen

The point that stood out to me was changing the review board every month. There are some who do not belong.
I like the idea of a modest payment(credit) for reviewing, 5-10 cents, anyway.
I also like the idea of contest entries automatically posted.
Nice concept.
