Your poem told this very wonderful story in a satisfying and memorable way. There is no way to ever pay him back for the sacrifice He made. All we can do is honor Him with everything we do. Great Easter poem. Gretchen

Hi Gretchen, you are right. Jesus' love for us is the greatest thing ever.
I thank you for this lovely review of my early Easter poem, as I didn't want to post it so close to April Fool's day.
I just felt the need to write about Jesus and remind people of what He did for us.
Thanks for your kind words for this poem, dear friend. Love, Debi

A well written piece Debi on the sacrifice made by Jesus so that mankind could be forgiven. It is something we all need to remember as Easter approaches. An excellent piece, I enjoyed reading it.

This is a lovely poem for Easter. Indeed, He is our risen King. Your thoughts are glorifying to Him all the way through. He is , as you said, "The greatest gift to mankind." Thank you for sharing this, dear.

This is a beautiful. Although you didn't lay in out that way. it seems to read like verse of a minute poem. Maybe people are writing about Christ and resurection as we near the Easter season. I lovely the melody of Hallellujah. These words or more spiritual that the Cohen version.

Hi Debi, This is a lovely poem that was presented at the perfect time. Easter is just around the corner so it fits beautifully with its timing. We all should be reminded of what a giving person Jesus was. Sometimes we fall far from his teachings. You did a wonderful job reminding us of what Jesus gave to all of us! Happy Easter! :o) Helvi

Debi, as you know, the power of poetry can often come in a simple format that is easily understood by the reader. Such is the case of this wonderfully written yet simple poem offering a powerful message. Well done, Terry.

Amen! Great story told about the Lord, His Life, and sacrifice and redemption of all humankind! What a great job you did with the rhyming - with three rhymes for every couplet!

Of all the people who have claimed to love us throughout our lives, I wonder just how many of them would have given their lives and died nailed to a cross for our sins? An easy answer. Just one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ric, and as always you are so very kind. I don't think there is any bad time to do a poem about Jesus, except maybe April Fools, so I thought I would do my little simple poem a little early, since they are only a day apart.
Thanks again, my dear friend for the very kind review and words.
Love, Debi

Hi Debi, .What a beautiful poem. I really liked it. I often wonder how they could kill him. Some people today mock him and use his name in vain. Written well and I like the picture. The video is good for your poem. Love, Brenda
