Well, so I just had to sit through the Super Bowl playing in the background as my husband watched it. I know nothing about football. However, your poem was a more pleasant way of taking in the game ha ha. It clearly sounds like you do know what you're talking about. Maybe I should write an answering poem from the point of view of someone who has no idea! Thanks for sharing. Julie

Hi Julie, I didn't even watch it all. My husband wants to hear everything they say and I like to talk a little. LOL. So I went in my room and watched something else.

Hahaha! Well in MN it was a rare year for injuries. We actually had a back up to the back up quarterback this year. Then, a few more got hurt, including my best friend of forty years cousin. His name is TJ Hockenson, but they call him TJ or Hock. Anyway he is one of our starters, or at least before he got hurt.
Yeah, I love football. I had to play football and be one of the boys since my three sisters were all grown up and I only had three brothers to play with. So I either learned the game of football by the time I was six, along with catching frogs and snakes, etc, etc... yes, I was one of the boys. To this day every guy in my family are afraid of snakes, and I reach right down and pick them up and freak them all out with them. But I promise I would never do that to you. LOL

You know I have a few endearing names tucked away in my heart for you. With one being earth angel and that is why the butterflies must love you and you love them.
You are just so good to me, and I appreciate you more than you could possibly know and not just because of the six stars. And I thank you once again with all my heart for all the kind words too.

It's almost over and I think many of us are watching. You summed up the day for many of us. I didn't tailgate, and I don't really care who wins. But it is fun to watch and see who the winner is. In just a little bit we'll have to wait til the next year starts after the summer and wait to see who gets here next year so we can do all this again.

Excellent poem for the super bowl. My daughter, her husband, and grandson are watching it. I an not into sports but I'm watching here in there. We follow the San Francisco 49rs. I like watching the commercials and half time show.

This site has a huge learning curve. Enjoy the game. We're going to Costco while the game is on, hoping the store will be empty of shoppers. LOL

OMGosh, Hon, I hardly ever enter contests. And look at all the tribute poems I write. Those are just because they make me feel good to give to others.

Hello there, my sweet Verna. Thank you for this fun review. You are always so kind. And LOL, not that I would ever debate the English teacher, so just asking to be sure, but if my line reads beer's (short for beer is) where they can relate, don't I need the apostrophe?
