Lol. Would you care to come and cook for me? We were married on 9th June 1979, just a few weeks later. Unfortunately my man can only do scrambled eggs (or so he says, lol!) Our day was a perfect winter's day with sunshine and blue sky, not too cold (we never get snow).
So glad you had a lovely celebration. I bet you wife loves you, with the added bonus that you can cook! Well written.

I guess I have seen most of Tom Cruise's movies. I even tried sending him a Book of Mormon once, just in case he ever decides to step away from Scientology. Maybe a Bible storybook would have worked better, since I think he grew up Catholic.

What a delightful wedding anniversary meal. Apart from the pleasure of being with your son, I think restaurants are often over-rated. As we grow older, the comfort of simplicity becomes more appealing, and of course a good film is a great draw. Oh no I forgot - at the restaurant they do all the clearing up for you. I like that. kay
