Deer are so beautiful. And I do not understand why people hunt them down and kill them to eat. To me, it is a shame. Thank you for sharing this great story. They are amazing animals. Have a great evening.

Carolyn,I agree. In my world, deer are plentiful. From my perspective we share the land I hold and they are welcome.

and could picture everything as I read. I really like our praise for
nature as you reached the top of the bluff. Then the added bonus
of the twin fawns was amazing. I felt as if I was on the hike, too.

Your phraseology paints a picture so clear that I could feel the sun on my face.
The metre felt like water running like a cool stream through majestic mountains.
The rhymes glide with the ease like a butterflies wings in flight.

It's identical to the quatern poem, the progressive movement of the first line. The pantoum is a European adoption of what was originally Malayan poetic form, they must have a great tradition of poetry. Beautifully written, my friend, blessings Roy

What a lovely poem. The form was well done, I liked how the reposition of the refrain changed positions in each verse. Ending the poem with the refrain really helped it stand out more. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely poem and picture! And you made it more challenging with a word like "amazed" to rhyme with throughout the poem. Yes, being in nature gives us many reasons to raise out arms to God in praise!
