This is hilarious with perfect rhyme and rhythm and it was great reading. I guess some might call it sacrilegious, but it is all in good fun and I'm sure God must have a sense of humor since he made so many funny people.

Thanks, Beth. I checked with God before I wrote this one. He said that as long as I wrote a few serious ones, He'd give me the green light on this one.

I am usually writing more than one poem at a time. I would guess that it took a few weeks to get all the wrinkles out.

Anyway, it was a pleasure to come across your bouncy, humorous verse and meet your witty Satan, although I confess to being a little disappointed that I didn't get to read God's reply. Perhaps a sequel is in order.

Great rhyme and rhythm and brought a smile to my face.
